CyclistsCycling, Hiking & Mountain Biking
Walkers, hikers, and cyclists will enjoy the flat, packed Confederation Trail that crisscrosses the South Shore. Check locally for many other walking trails.

Cycling and technical mountain biking trails can be found at the Brookvale Provincial Park (follow the road into the Nordic Cross Country Ski Trails complex).

Canoeing & Kayaking
Not only is the South Shore spectacular from land, it is a sight to behold by river and sea!

Good Birding Locations
The Great Blue Heron is a common sight in the evening along the shore. They migrate as far south as the West Indies and arrive back on the Island in late March.
